Engineering ManagerThe Engineering Manager leads process standardization, equipment engineering, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for driving baseline processes, defining and implementing improvements, and overseeing equipment design and deployment (2D/3D), including FAT and SAT execution across greenfield and brownfield environments.ResponsibilitiesProcess & StandardizationEstablish, document, and govern baseline manufacturing and engineering processesDrive standard work, process control, and best practice adoption across sitesContinuous Improvement / LeanLead Lean manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, waste reduction, flow optimization)Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and productivityUse data-driven analysis to optimize manufacturing performanceEquipment Engineering & ImplementationOversee design and development of equipment (2D/3D layouts, tooling, automation)Lead equipment procurement, installation, and commissioningEnsure successful execution of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)Greenfield / Brownfield ProjectsSupport full lifecycle facility builds (greenfield) including layout, equipment planning, and rampDrive upgrades, expansions, and process improvements in existing operations (brownfield)Project ManagementDevelop and execute project plans, ensuring delivery on time and within budgetCoordinate cross-functional stakeholders (Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS)Safety & ComplianceEnsure all operations comply with OSHA, environmental, and corporate safety standardsPromote a strong safety culture and risk mitigation frameworkLeadership & Talent DevelopmentLead and develop a team of engineers and technical professionalsProvide coaching, performance management, and succession planningMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related)7+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial environments3+ years of leadership experience managing teamsHands-on experience with:Equipment design and implementation (2D/3D)FAT and SAT executionLean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologiesStrong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety complianceExperience working in greenfield and/or brownfield manufacturing environmentsPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Engineering or related fieldExperience with automation, robotics, or advanced manufacturing technologiesSix Sigma (Green Belt / Black Belt) or Lean certificationExperience working in global or multi-site manufacturing environmentsStrong project management skills (PMP or equivalent a plus)We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, status as a veteran, and basis of disability or any federal, state, or local protected class.Why Work at LenovoWe are Lenovo.
