About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead and grow a multidisciplinary engineering organization developing innovative technology products. This role will oversee engineering teams across embedded software, firmware, electrical engineering, RF, systems integration, and related disciplines.

This is a people-first leadership position focused on building high-performing teams, driving delivery excellence, developing engineering leaders, and ensuring successful execution of complex product development programs.

You will work closely with executive leadership and technical leads to align engineering resources, schedules, and priorities while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering managers, technical leads, and senior engineers.
• Drive delivery across multiple engineering disciplines, ensuring projects meet quality, schedule, and business objectives.
• Build and scale engineering teams to support company growth and product development initiatives.
• Partner with technical leadership to translate strategic objectives into actionable engineering plans.
• Manage engineering resources, hiring plans, workforce development, and succession planning.
• Establish and improve engineering processes, delivery metrics, and operational best practices.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between hardware, software, firmware, systems integration, and security teams.
• Identify and mitigate program risks while maintaining transparency with executive leadership.
• Support customer engagements, technical reviews, and executive presentations as required.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of engineering experience, including 4+ years managing engineering teams.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary product development organizations.
• Strong people leadership experience including hiring, mentoring, performance management, and team development.
• Proven ability to manage engineering schedules, resources, budgets, and delivery commitments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

Preferred Experience

• Embedded systems, firmware, RF, electronics, or hardware product development environments.
• Defense, aerospace, telecommunications, robotics, IoT, or advanced technology industries.
• Experience leading both hardware and software engineering teams.
• Familiarity with compliance, cybersecurity, testing, and product validation processes.
• Experience in a high-growth or startup environment.
