It is in very high demand and as a result, business is booming.We are actively searching to add to this dynamic team and have an open position for a Software Manager.
The team develops algorithms and data structures for high-performance software in C on Linux platforms. A new initiative of adding a set of REST APIs to the application is underway.Qualified candidates will be local to central New Jersey, will have experience leading software engineers on Scrum teams, and be very technical and knowledgeable of C programming language, Linux operating system, and Python.If this sounds like you, let's talk.Lead and manage a team of 12+ (and growing) software engineers/programmers.Keep projects on track and:Provide technical coachingTake part in design and code reviewsProvide leadership in improving the software engineering processesProvide performance feedbackInterview and hire new team membersThe ideal individual for this job will have a solid technical background in software development and strong leadership and communication skills. Specific requirements are:Experience in software management or program management in a software development department of a technology-driven companyExperience working in an Agile Development environmentExtensive experience with the C-Language, preferably on Linux platformsBS or MS degree in a technical discipline is desiredAble to work onsite in Monmouth County NJ two days per week
