Engineering Manager (Geotechnical)The Engineering Manager position oversees all engineering outputs during bidding and pre-construction, as well as supervises while in construction. Leads and manages the staff of engineers, drafters, and third-party consultants that design and produce engineered systems for ASAP. Reviews and signs and seal shop drawings and calculations for support of excavation systems (SOE), ground improvement, and foundation work.
Responsible for ensuring all products coming out of Engineering are per the utmost construction and engineering industry standards. Develops the department strategy, goals, and measures and evaluates performance yearly.QualificationsProfessional engineer license from the state of Florida (PE)Minimum experience: 10 years (Preferably in geotechnical design, experience with the design of Sheet Piles, Beam & Lagging, Soil Anchors & Micropiles is highly coveted)Minimum education level: B.S.
