Engineering Manager (Foundry/Casting)

We are representing an industry leading industrial manufacturing organization who is actively seeking an Engineering Manager due to a recently announced retirement. Reporting to the General Manager, this candidate would assume ownership over a 8 direct reports while working closely with Senior leadership. This is a 500+ employee non-union facility.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Engineering Manager will report to the General Manager and will be responsible for leading a department of 10 direct reports
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives including scrap reduction, yield improvement, and process optimization
• Responsible for the training and development of staff
• Develop and mentor high-potential engineering talent while building a strong technical bench
• Establish and track KPIs aligned with plant and business objective
• Provide strategic input into the long-term engineering and business roadmap

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Engineering/Technical degree is required for consideration
• Candidate should have at least 3-5 years Engineering leadership experience for consideration
• Experience within a foundry environment and/or Casting, Machining, metals experience.
• Experience in high speed/fast paced manufacturing environment is required
• Ability to communicate effectively with staff and work cross functionally with others
