Environmental Engineering Manager – Hybrid

Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Environmental Engineering Manager to lead environmental, civil, and wastewater projects while supporting business growth and team development.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead environmental engineering and remediation projects from planning through completion.
- Manage civil, wastewater, groundwater, landfill, and site remediation projects.
- Prepare designs, specifications, cost estimates, proposals, and technical reports.
- Oversee NJ/PA environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, QA/QC, and client relationships.
- Lead and mentor engineers, drafters, and project staff.
- Support business development, client presentations, and local growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Current New Jersey PE license.
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering.
- 15+ years of environmental engineering experience.
- 6+ years of management experience.
- Experience with wastewater, landfill, groundwater remediation, and contaminated sites.
- Strong project management, communication, and business development skills.
- Current OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification.
- Ability to travel as needed.
