You bring a balance of technical depth, project ownership, and people leadership.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required, Master's degree preferredActive Professional Engineer (P.E.) license (multi-state reciprocity preferred)Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, permitting, and construction practicesDemonstrated ability to lead projects and teams in dynamic environmentsExperience12+ years of experience in civil engineeringProficient with the development of design and construction documents for infrastructure projectsProven experience with regulatory requirements and permitting associated with infrastructure projectsBackground in electric transmission or similar infrastructure projects preferredExperience using engineering and project tools such as AutoCAD, Hydrology, Hydraulic, Stormwater Management and Project Management softwareTechnical ResponsibilitiesServe as a trusted technical advisor, applying advanced engineering concepts to complex challengesEvaluate and implement innovative methods, tools, and processesAnalyze projects from a systems perspective with a focus on sustainability and long-term performanceStay current on evolving engineering practices and recommend improvementsManagement, Supervision, and GuidanceLead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, designers, and draftersAssign work, manage performance, and foster continuous learningProvide coaching that builds technical capability and professional growthPromote a culture of curiosity, accountability, and collaborationCommunication, Teamwork, and LeadershipBuild strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal partnersCommunicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiencesLead with influence—bringing teams together to solve complex challengesRepresent your discipline in cross-functional initiatives and strategic discussionsWhy GAI?GAI offers skilled professionals like you an exceptional place to work, grow, lead, and achieve.
