This expertise assures you of our ability to handle the largest and most complex packages quickly and efficiently.Panelmatic is seeking a detail-oriented experienced Engineering Manager who will design and implement Utility grade, industrial, commercial, and domestic electrical power systems.Job Duties:Leads the engineering and project management efforts on assigned projects and is responsible for coordinating the individual Engineering Disciplines such that the most cost-effective total project solution for executing engineering work is achievedEnsures that the engineering work on the project is completed on schedule, meets quality standards including review meetings and checking procedures, performance is within the baseline man-hour and material budgets, required deliverables are produced and change management is executed in a timely mannerReviews the status of the schedule and progress performance with the Clients on a regular basis, and keep the General Managers apprised of issuesEnsures the quality of the engineering execution and deliverablesParticipates in people development through mentoring, development of training material, and conducting or training seminarsDevelops and builds client relationsCoordinate and develop structural and electrical documents for the scope of work definition, specification, data sheets, equipment selection, drawing review, schematic development, wiring diagrams, physical layout drawings, and project close-out procedures for low to medium-voltage industrial power distribution systemsPrepare and review purchase orders for various electrical equipmentCoordinate inspection and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) for Power Distribution Centers and control enclosure buildings with the GM, MM and quality control inspectorExhibit thorough understanding of pertinent codes and governing regulations, and industry practicesPerform all key duties & responsibilities set forth in QAP 30.1.3.Work directly with the GM & MM to set project priorities, schedules, workloads, and personnel requirements.Oversee all state inspection submissions and approvals and insure they are completed in a timely manner.Coordinate third party inspections of all required projects.Oversee all building shipments, loading, offloading, and site installations to insure successful project completion.Assist with inventory tracking and proper charges offs to projects before shipment.Assist GM as needed with other activities including sales, site visits, R&D, purchasing, estimating, etc. as needed
