The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as an Engineering Equipment Operator/ Munitions Handler for the Navy D5 De-mil. program at the Utah Test and Training Range.
The organizational location of this position is: AFSC, OO-ALC, 309th Missiles Maintenance Group, located at the Utah Test and Training Range.
ORGANIZATIONAL GOALS OR OBJECTIVES: To ensure operations are safe through pavement maintenance, snow removal grading, boom crane and bridge crane operations grading, digging, movement of D5 missile motors from rail cars, and preparations and movement of D5 missile motors into storage.

- Obtain & maintain Security clearance
- This may be a designated Drug Testing Position
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)
- The employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include overtime, and/or days, swings, or owl shifts.
- The employee may be required to work during base exercises, contingencies or emergency situations.
- The employee may occasionally travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW Joint Travel Regulations to other government installations, contractor facilities, or other commercial Locations for both training and mission accomplishment.
Recruitment Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
1. Knowledge of the engineering equipment such as graders, tractors with bulldozer or angle dozer blades, front-end loaders, backhoes, trench diggers, and large industrial tractors with pan or scraper attachments.
2. Knowledge of different sets of controls and operation of equipment and attachments. Skill in manipulating the controls to adjust spreaders, sprayers. Post hole-diggers, backhoes, movable dozer blades and front-end loading devices.
3. Knowledge of AA&E ordnance handling procedures and DOD Ammunition Safety Requirements, Material Handling Equipment and Weight Handling Equipment.
4. Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehousing of munitions.
