This is an exciting time to join our team and become part of the growth and expansion of the site. We need an exceptional Drafter with self-initiative, solid CAD and Autodesk Revit background, and a strong sense of urgency to create Revit drawings and models for our facility, which consists of manufacturing, laboratory, warehouse, and office spaces.The CAD Drafter is responsible for creating, administering, coordinating, and maintaining engineering drawings and drawing systems in compliance with the DEA and FDA regulations, cGMP standards, and applicable department programs. Based on historical as-built documentation and field verification, the position will create construction-style as-built drawing sets and 3D models in Autodesk Revit. The CAD Drafter will create Autodesk Revit 3D models and 2D as-built construction-style sheet sets from historical construction documentation and field verification of as-built conditions.
The CAD Drafter will also receive red-line drawings from Engineers and is responsible for ensuring the changes are made to reflect "as-built conditions in the Autodesk Revit 3D models and 2D as-built constructions style sheet sets.Required Competencies: Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAdvanced knowledge of drawing symbols used in engineering design and the construction industryAdvanced knowledge of Autodesk Revit, including family and child creation, for all discipline types and other design software systemsStrong knowledge of Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Piping, Loop diagrams, P&IDs, Equipment layout, and plan view designAdvanced customer service skillsRequires flexibility and ability to multi-taskStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interpret/write general business documentsAbility to solve routine problemsBasic knowledge of cGMP, OSHA, DEA, USP, and EPBasic knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and ExcelKey ResponsibilitiesEnsure proper systems, procedures, and processes are used to maintain site and vendor engineering drawings and documentation effectivelyCreate new and revises existing drawings (including vendor drawings) and make copies using Autodesk Revit.Maintain electronic files for all engineering drawings in Autodesk VaultPrioritize drafting requests and schedule drawing work and associated approval signatures to meet requestor deadlinesAssure compliance with FDA regulations, cGMP, and applicable department programs, including: Training, Documentation, SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), DSs (Design Standards), Company policies and procedures.
