Engineering Design Specialist - Columbus, NEThis position offers an exciting opportunity to assist in construction design and site plan updates for our Columbus Corn Processing facility by developing and maintaining project drawings and documents.Specific Job DutiesAssist engineers with preparation of construction documents, coordination of project tasks and development of work plans and flow sheetsPrepare and update PFD's, P&IDs, GA's (general layouts), 3D structural and piping models, etc.Develop structural and/or mechanical design, construction plans, and specifications using AutoCAD compatible softwareField verify equipment, buildings and piping.Follow CAD Drafting Standards.Maintain drawings in computer directoriesJob RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentAssociates degree in Mechanical Design, Engineering Technology, or related field of study2+ years industrial or construction work experience2+ years mechanical or structural drafting experienceMust be able to perform non-routine and complex drafting assignments requiring application of standard CAD drawing techniquesAbility and willingness to work outside at construction sites as needed for field workProficient in AutoCadProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsStrong knowledge of piping and mechanical systemsPreferred knowledge in NavisWorks or equivalentPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift up to 25lbs from waist to shoulder on an occasional basisNo push/pull requirementMust be able to walk 1-3 hoursMust be able to sit 5-8 hoursMust be able to squat/kneel on an occasional basisMust be able to climb stairs/ladders on an occasional basisConstant computer/keyboardingExcited about this role but don't think you meet every requirement listed?
