Job TitleJTAGS Configuration Management LeadJob DescriptionJTAGS' objective is simple: to receive, process and disseminate Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) sensor information on tactical ballistic missile (TBM) launches and other events of interest for warning, alerting and cueing via in-theater tactical and strategic communications networks.ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities include:Implement and manage the program's Configuration Management (CM) strategy within the Integrated Product Team (IPT)Develop, maintain, and improve CM plans, policies, and proceduresOversee configuration identification, control, auditing, status accounting, and verification processesCoordinate engineering change activities and baseline control across departmentsConduct formal configuration audits and support resolution of discrepanciesManage CM tools and databases, ensuring data integrity and complianceLead Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Engineering Change Boards (ECBs)Train and mentor junior CM analystsProvide expert CM guidance and interface with engineering, quality, and project management teamsGenerate reports and briefings for leadership on configuration activities and compliance statusQualificationsThe qualifications include:5–7 years of progressive experience in configuration or change managementActive DoD Secret clearance at the time of applicationProficiency in managing change control processes and leading CCBsExperience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo and requirements tools like DOORSFamiliarity with project/task management platforms such as Jira and ConfluenceAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly documentationExcellent communication and presentation skillsU.S. Citizenship requiredPreferred QualificationsExperience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tools such as Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia, or CostpointFamiliarity with configuration standards (e.g., MIL-HDBK-61A, EIA-649B/649-1)Knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100 and ISO9001Exposure to specialty engineering tools and environments, such as MATLAB, Python, Cypress, or CadenceEducationBachelor's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)Work Location & HoursLocation: On-site in Colorado Springs, COWork Hours: Full-time, standard business hours with occasional after-hours support for mission-critical operationsCompensationThe compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $175,000 per year.

Compensation will be discussed in greater detail with candidates who advance in the interview process, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation of qualifications and alignment with role requirements.Compensation Disclaimer: The salary range provided for this position represents a general guideline.
