Engineering And Technical Operations Senior ManagerThe Engineering and Technical Operations Senior Manager is responsible to provide leadership, technical expertise and drive results across capital execution, site and facility maintenance, asset and productivity improvements while managing and minimizing labor & overhead costs while ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, sanitation and regulatory compliance.This position will be onsite at our Monett, MO location. Relocating candidates (50+ miles) are eligible for $10,000 relocation bonus.What you'll do:Ensures mechanical and electrical expertise are available to production and other departments to maintain production systems, utilities, buildings and grounds in a 24-hour, 7-day per week operation.Drive key initiatives around the standardization of "best practices" and policies for the Maintenance DepartmentProvide leadership and direction to plant maintenance function covering the 24/7 operationImprove employee safety, production quality, equipment reliability, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) utilizing Continuous Improvement techniquesUtilizes mechanical and electrical expertise to manage production systems, utilities, buildings and groundsFull knowledge and utilization of the EAM system in support of maintenance & engineering functionsResponsible for Continuous Improvement programs related to engineering, to generate improvement plans that feature both short and long-term improvements, with and without capital investment.Business driver of Value Stream Mapping and Lean ProcessesDrive key initiatives throughout the facility in the areas of Maintenance, fixed asset management, plant layout & flow manufacturing, managing floating bottlenecks, FDA/GMP/AIB compliance, safety and automationTrain staff members on new technologies (electrical controls, and other manufacturing technology).Maintenance Mechanic(s), Maintenance Planner) directly and/or indirectly, to ensure effective selection, retention, development, disciplinary action and performance management.If a collective bargaining agreement exists, may participate in negotiations, grievances or other contract related activities and discussions.Drive key initiatives around refrigeration systems, plant utility systems, high-speed processing, and packaging/material handling systemsTogether with the leadership team, ensures compliance with Food Safety and Food Quality Plans, in addition to customer requirements. Interprets and communicates customer requirements to plant production and/or support groups.

Establishes and Audits PCPs, CCPs and Standard Operating Procedures to define and monitor processes, to ensure customer requirements are met. Reviews incidents during which the procedures are not met, and determines appropriate corrective action for partners failing to follow standard procedures.What you need to succeed:Bachelors in Engineering or related field5-10 years of experience in Engineering, Project Management, Process Excellence, Black Belt or Maintenance.8-10 years' progressive experience in manufacturing engineering, with at least 5 years in a management roleExtensive knowledge of operations from a technical perspective (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred).High level management and business skills, extensive financial knowledge base as well as understanding of employment policies/procedures.Organizational, interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skillsEffectively communicate concepts both verbally and in writingAble to influence and impact all levels in the organizationAbility to lead processes to conclusions/recommendationsFlexibility to expend discretionary effort as required to meet critical needsProficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)Ability to travel up to 15%
