Role Description
Varland Plating is seeking a hands‑on Engineering & Process Control Manager to support and advance our electroplating, wastewater treatment, and facility utility systems. A strong plating or surface finishing background is highly preferred. This role provides technical leadership focused on improving process reliability, efficiency, compliance, and long-term operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with chemical vendors and production personnel to develop plating processes
- Support electroplating, wastewater treatment, and facility utility systems
- Drive troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and process reliability improvements
- Lead automation, controls, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support environmental compliance and monitoring
- Oversee capital projects and equipment upgrades
- Partner with Production, Maintenance, Quality, and IT
- Develop and maintain process standards and documentation
We are looking for an engineer who is technically strong, operationally engaged, and comfortable working directly with plating processes, equipment, and production teams to drive improvement and innovation.
