A leading manufacturer is seeking an Engineering & Maintenance Manager in the greater Danville, VA area to lead engineering, maintenance, and reliability efforts at a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role will drive equipment performance, lead capital projects, and develop high-performing teams while supporting safe, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering and maintenance teams to improve equipment reliability and plant performance.
- Drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Manage capital projects from planning through commissioning.
- Develop engineering and maintenance staff while promoting continuous improvement.
- Partner with Production, Quality, and EHS to achieve safety and operational goals.
Candidates Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of engineering, maintenance, or reliability experience in manufacturing.
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing technical teams.
- Experience with CMMS, capital projects, and root cause analysis (RCA).
- Knowledge of WCM, Lean, TPM, and industrial safety programs preferred.
