and Korea including a medical university, and CHAUM (a premier anti-aging life center).Major Responsibilities/Essential Functions:Ability to oversee daily general operations of the departmentCoordinate efforts for joint commissionServe as a liaison between assigned accreditation bodiesCoordinate all survey and post survey activitiesDemonstrates the ability to maintain complete and accurate recordsCoordinate with Fire Life Safety vendors to maintain records are current and in complianceCoordinate with EOC Committee members to update all report informationResponsible for managing and coordinating a variety of department projects, activities, reports, schedules and data collection and managementAble to review policies and procedures and make recommendationsHas the ability to maintain inventory, order supplies and complete requisitionsReview purchase requisitions and invoices through the Accounts Payable programDemonstrates the ability to arrange and schedule meetings; coordinate meetings/s, agenda materials and record meeting minutesDemonstrates the ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information and abiding by HIPAA/Privacy Breach regulationsHas the ability to maintain and standardize office proceduresDemonstrates prompt and accurate responses to all requests, problems, and questionsAbility to perform routine clerical tasks which may include, but are not limited to, filing, sorting, collating, stamping, delivering, routing, counting, stapling, folding, posting, tallying information, copying, stuffing, mailing, retrieving, checking, recording and relaying messagesOperates computer equipment to store, edit, format, print and revise letters, memos, statistical tables, reports, forms, labels and other printed materialDemonstrate the ability to use the work order system and generate reportsCommunicates appropriately and clearly with everyone in/out of HPMCMaintains a good working relationship with all points of contactDemonstrates the ability to be flexible and organizedJob Qualifications:High school diploma or GED requiredReports to work on time and as scheduled, completes work within designated timeUses computerized time clock correctlyAttends staff meetings and actively participates, reads and returns all staff meeting minutesDemonstrates knowledge of equipment capabilities, limitations and appropriate/special applicationsDemonstrates the ability to access and use computer systems and computer programsAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writingTwo years experience in a healthcare office setting is requiredCurrent Los Angeles Country Fire Card (required within 30 days of hire)Assault Response Competency (ARC) (required within 30 days of hire)Status: Full Time Shift: Day Hours: 8hrs (8:00am - 4:30pm) Weekly/Bi-Weekly Hours: 40hrs/80hrs FTE: 1.0
