Manufacturing EngineerManufacturing Engineer needed on-site in Kenosha, WI to support high performance doors.Essential Job FunctionsManages plans, directs, coordinates optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processesEnsures processes and operations function efficiently, safely and effectivelyTroubleshoots operations, revises drawing and process sheets, verifies conformance, trains operatorsEvaluation of existing processes to improve process flowResearching automation techniques, testing new systems and planning layouts for optimizationCoordinates launch for new, revised products, processes and equipmentFollows Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing principlesWhat We Are Looking ForBachelors' degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical/engineering field. Masters Degree a plus.3-5+ years of related experience, preferable in engineering1-3+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or assembly processes preferredExperience designing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining complex production machinerySignificant "hands on the product" experience with ability to recognize problems, predict potential outcomes and implement countermeasures quickly to avoid problemsKnowledge and use of CAD software (SolidWorks is desirable)4Front Engineered Solutions is a leader in the door and docking industry.
