Engine DisassemblerAs an Engine Disassembler, you'll play a vital role in our production and recycling operations—helping prepare vehicles for processing and ensuring parts are safely and efficiently dismantled for reuse and resale. You'll work hands-on with tools and equipment in a team-focused, safety-first environment.What you'll do as an Engine Disassembler:Promote a "Safety First" culture and follow all environmental, health, and safety standardsDisassemble and prepare engines, vehicle components, and fluids for recycling and resaleOperate tools and equipment such as air compressors, hydraulic shears, and CFC recovery unitsInspect, clean, and maintain equipment and tools daily; report any needed repairs to supervisorsSupport vehicle preparation by removing fluids, electrical components, catalytic converters, and other parts per SOPsMaintain accurate reporting of parts and inventory levelsEnsure all vehicles are properly secured during transport, processing, or dismantlingKeep your work area organized and cleanFollow the company dress code and always wear required PPEAssist teammates and contribute to team goalsWork standard production hours (Monday–Friday), with some weekends or holidays as neededWhat you bring as an Engine Disassembler:Commitment to safety and teamworkGeneral automotive mechanical knowledgeExperience with hand tools and power toolsAbility to work in a fast-paced, outdoor industrial environmentStrong organizational and problem-solving skillsBasic computer and mobile device skillsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs regularlyReliable transportationExperience operating excavators a MUST!Preferred:Experience maintaining or troubleshooting heavy equipment (loaders, hydraulics, forklifts, etc.)Basic auto parts knowledgeBilingual (English/Spanish)About Pull-A-Part and U-Pull-&-Pay:Pull-A-Part, headquartered in Atlanta, GA, is an award-winning leader in the do-it-yourself used auto parts industry.
