Energy Portfolio AnalystThe company is a leading retail energy and distributed generation provider focused on delivering cleaner, lower-cost energy solutions to commercial and industrial customers. The company combines traditional energy supply services with distributed energy infrastructure solutions such as solar and battery storage.The company is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Energy Portfolio Analyst to support the company's growing portfolio of power, natural gas, and REC assets across East Coast markets. This position will play a critical role in market analysis, portfolio management, risk assessment, and process optimization.The ideal candidate will have experience working within energy markets and possess strong quantitative, analytical, and technical skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging energy professional to join a fast-growing organization operating at the forefront of renewable energy and sustainable infrastructure.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and analyze electricity, natural gas, and REC marketsProduce market insights, reporting, and analytics to support trading and risk management strategiesTrack market trends, pricing movements, and regulatory developments impacting portfolio performanceMaintain and improve pricing, forecasting, and hedging toolsEnsure accuracy and integrity of portfolio data and reporting systemsAnalyze volumetric exposure, pricing risk, and portfolio performance metricsSupport scenario analysis and risk modeling activitiesAssist in identifying portfolio optimization and supply opportunitiesContribute to strategic decision-making related to energy procurement and asset managementImprove workflows through automation and advanced analytics toolsSupport the implementation of AI and data-driven solutions for forecasting and reportingEnhance operational efficiency across portfolio management functionsPartner with internal teams to resolve data and operational issuesSupport broader commercial initiatives across trading, operations, and origination teamsContribute to a collaborative, fast-paced, and solutions-oriented cultureRequirementsBachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field2–4 years of experience in energy markets, portfolio analytics, risk management, trading support, or related functionsExperience working with power, renewable energy certificates (RECs), and/or natural gas markets preferredStrong analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilitiesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis toolsExperience with forecasting, pricing, hedging, or risk analytics preferredFamiliarity with automation tools, scripting languages, AI applications, or business intelligence platforms is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and collaboration skillsBenefitsCompetitive compensation package with a salary range of $90,000–$110,000, commensurate with experienceOpportunity to work remotely within a high-growth renewable energy organizationExposure to innovative clean energy and distributed infrastructure projectsCollaborative and entrepreneurial team environmentProfessional growth opportunities within a rapidly evolving energy platform
