Originating energy agreements, the full-time salaried Energy Origination Manager will lead the development of power purchase agreements and hedging strategies while managing risk and supporting data center growth in a remote setting. Key responsibilities Lead the origination of energy agreements, including PPAs and utility interconnection contracts Develop investment cases through LCOE and NPV/IRR analyses to inform power strategy decisions Evaluate and execute hedging strategies to mitigate power and fuel price risks Required qualifications Significant experience in energy origination, commodity/power trading, or utility-scale power markets Strong analytical skills with the ability to build and test LCOE, NPV, and IRR models Hands-on experience with power and gas hedges, including swaps and options Proven negotiation skills with utilities and counterparties Familiarity with RTO/ISO market structures and tariff dynamics
