Energy Data Analyst | Energy Market Economic And Regulatory AnalysisProSidian is seeking an Energy Data Analyst for Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis. This is a contract contingent basis located in Washington DC and across the Mid Atlantic Region supporting a branch of DOE that leverages science and technology to address energy, environmental, and nuclear challenges, advancing climate and energy policies through strategic studies and policy analysis supporting analytical capabilities.The role involves conducting analysis of energy consumption, production, and trends to support policy development. The Data Analyst will perform complex data analysis, create visualizations, and manage data repositories related to energy consumption, production, and trends.

The role also involves providing Public Comment Review, Data Analysis, Modeling, Evaluation, Mapping, Forecasting And Report Development, Data Tracking Tools, Workforce Policy Analysis And Convening, as well as Energy Market Economic And Regulatory Analysis Technical Consulting Services and support for The Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Policy (OP).The role is estimated to be engaged as Full-time analyzing energy data, trends, and insights critical to project outcomes. Due to the sensitive nature of our work, the individuals who will be actively completing work on this contract or reviewing documents related to our operations must either be cleared (Secret Fcl / Top Secret Fcl) or be able to obtain and maintain a clearance (i.e. DOE Q).QualificationsCandidates for Data Analyst typically require a Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering) and a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience. Key skills for Data Analyst include analytical thinking, proficiency in data analysis tools, strong communication abilities, and subject matter expertise in energy and policy domains.Competencies for Data Analyst include problem-solving ability, adaptability, teamwork, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of energy sector operations.Additionally, candidates should possess proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, outstanding time management and prioritization abilities, adaptability to changing project requirements and priorities, ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail, excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills, and strong communication skills, both oral and written.
