To support the United States Postal Service's Cybersecurity program, the full-time Endpoint Security Engineer will design, deploy, and operationalize advanced endpoint detection and response capabilities, ensuring robust security across a vast enterprise environment while working remotely. Key responsibilities Engineer, deploy, and maintain Next-Gen Antivirus and EDR/XDR agents across a large fleet of heterogeneous endpoints Act as the primary technical partner to application owners, managing allowlisting and exception workflows to minimize operational disruptions Support SOC analysts and IT administrators during high-severity threat detection and response events, performing advanced host forensics and remediation Required qualifications 7+ years of experience in technical cybersecurity engineering or infrastructure security roles Expert-level proficiency in administering enterprise-scale EDR/XDR platforms across diverse operating systems Strong programming/scripting abilities in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and compliance Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience Demonstrated experience supporting SOC investigations in large-scale enterprise environments
