AdventHealth Medical Group, in collaboration with AdventHealth Daytona Beach, is seeking a fellowship-trained Neuro-Endovascular Neurologist or Interventional Neuroradiologist to join their expanding Neuroscience program in AdventHealth's East Florida Division. This full-time position involves providing comprehensive neurointerventional and stroke care, participating in multidisciplinary cerebrovascular programs, and contributing to an outpatient follow-up clinic. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in patient care, education, and research.

  • Multidisciplinary team of neurosurgeons, neurologists, and neuroradiologists
  • Primary campus and main referral center for a division of 7 hospitals
  • APP support available for emergencies, consults, and outpatient follow-up clinic
  • Soon to be a 500+ bed hospital with a 200+ bed tower expansion and 10 additional operating rooms

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive neurointerventional and stroke care at AdventHealth Daytona Beach
  • Participate in multidisciplinary cerebrovascular programs, including acute stroke intervention, aneurysm and AVM treatment, and advanced Neuro-Endovascular procedures
  • Respond to emergencies and consults within the hospital and Neuro ICU at AdventHealth Daytona Beach with APP support
  • Contribute to establishing an outpatient follow up clinic with APP support

Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certification or eligibility in Neurosurgery through ABNS
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Neurology or Diagnostic Radiology
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Neuro-Endovascular Surgery (Endovascular Surgical Neuroradiology)
  • Board eligibility or certification in Neurology or Radiology
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Florida
  • Preferred Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in independent Neuro-Endovascular procedures (diagnostic angiography, thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, AVM/AVF embolization, carotid stenting, etc.)
