Endoscopy Technician – Full Time, First Shift
UC Health is hiring a full‑time Endoscopy Technician for the first shift at UC Medical Center.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1–2 years of patient care experience
- Preferred: experience in endoscopy or surgical services and knowledge of Olympus scope processing
Responsibilities
- Engages in population‑appropriate communication, gives clear instructions to patients/family regarding treatment, and involves them in care.
- Recognizes and responds appropriately to patients/families with behavioral health problems, interprets population‑related data, and plans care.
- Performs clinical procedures only under RN supervision, with demonstrated competency.
- Obtains vital signs – temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure – includes pulse oximetry where applicable, and reports to RN.
- Ensures appropriate specimen processing, cleans and maintains equipment, performs leak tests, and follows manufacturer QA.
- Assists with patient transport, maintains unit safety, and manages equipment and supplies.
- Supports infection‑control protocols, universal precautions, and environmental safety.
- Performs miscellaneous duties such as cleaning, reporting safety hazards, and assisting in unit meetings.
