Sentara Albemarle Medical Center is hiring an Endoscopy Technician. This is a full-time position with day shift hours located in Elizabeth City, NC.
Position Overview
The Endo Tech assists with patient care in the Endoscopy Department. Is familiar with gastrointestinal and pulmonary diseases and assists during endoscopic procedures. Responsible for the preparation, maintenance and cleaning of equipment and supplies. Functions under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.

- High School Grad or Equivalent
Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.
Experience
- Required: 2 years related experience
- Required: Patient care experience, may substitute similar training from military or vocational training program
