Key Responsibilities
- Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all equipment and supplies are ready for use
- Collect and reconcile specimen
- Clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopes and related equipment according to regulatory standards
- Maintainaccuratelogs for equipment processing and infection control compliance
- Monitor and restock supplies and inventory
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, CDC, and facility policies
- Support patient care team inmaintaininga safe, efficient workflow
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certification as an Endoscopy Technician or Surgical Technician preferred
- Previousexperience in endoscopy or GI setting strongly preferred
- Knowledge of scope reprocessing and infection control procedures
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, patient-centered environment
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move equipment andassistpatients as needed
- Manual dexterity to handle delicate instruments
