As an Endoscopy Technician, you’ll play an important role in helping provide safe, effective procedures to patients undergoing GI and endoscopy procedures. Your careful work preparing equipment and maintaining a clean, well‑organized environment will help protect patients and empower caregivers to deliver on our shared mission to improve more lives in more ways.

The role requires strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety and cleanliness throughout all stages of endoscopy procedures.
Responsibilities
- Preparing procedure rooms and endoscopy equipment, verifying that equipment is in proper working order, and keeping supplies organized and stocked.
- Helping position and transport patients safely and comfortably while using proper body mechanics to protect both patients and yourself.
- Supporting physicians and nurses during procedures, including handling instruments, collecting specimens, and following proper safety practices.
- Cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing endoscopy equipment, and keeping accurate records for quality and safety.
- Communicating with kindness and compassion to patients and families, keeping them informed, and supporting their privacy and comfort throughout the care.
Qualifications
- Licensure/certification/registration: BLS required by AHA or ARC.
- At least 1 year of experience in an endoscopy or GI service environment.
