DigestiveCare, LLC, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a dedicated endoscopy tech to join our esteemed team. As an endoscopy tech, you will play a vital role in upholding our core beliefs of value, integrity, continuity, accessibility, and community engagement.
Responsibilities
- Render professional care to patients undergoing GI and pain management procedures within the surgical center in accordance with established procedures.
- Function cooperatively with physicians and staff, exhibiting teamwork characteristics.
- Prepare equipment and anticipate physician and patient needs for GI procedures.
- Provide general maintenance of the clinical area and equipment.
- Oversee the GI procedures and maintain all aspects of the GI procedure area.
- Assess patients prior to procedure.
- Document intra‑procedure notes.
- Assist physician on all GI procedures.
- Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies in the GI procedure area.
- Clean and maintain equipment per Center policy.
- Assist in pre‑op and recovery with turning over bays, discharging patients, basic patient assistance and stocking.
Schedule
Position requires weekdays only – no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings required.

Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Medical assistant certification.
- Certification in Operating Room Technology a plus.
- Current BLS required.
- ACLS preferred.
- Knowledge of policies and procedures specific to the OR and GI.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Manual dexterity to handle instruments quickly.
- Must be conscientious, organized, and able to handle the stress of a busy operating room & GI lab environment.
- Must be able to function as a team player.
- Possess the ability to lift 25 pounds.
- Must be able to communicate and understand the English language, both written and verbal.
