WCS Healthcare is currently partnering with a busy Endoscopy Center in Hamilton, NJ seeking 2-3 Endoscopy Technicians to join their growing team. Due to current staffing needs, the center is looking for motivated professionals who can quickly integrate into a fast-paced clinical environment and provide exceptional support to physicians, nurses, and patients.

Position Overview

The Endoscopy Technician plays a vital role in supporting endoscopic procedures by preparing procedure rooms, maintaining equipment, assisting clinical staff, and ensuring a safe, efficient patient care environment.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday
• Typical hours: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
• Must be flexible to stay later based on procedural volume and patient needs

Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure rooms and equipment before endoscopic procedures
• Assist physicians and nursing staff during procedures as directed
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain endoscopy equipment according to established protocols
• Ensure all supplies and instruments are stocked and readily available
• Transport patients as needed and assist with patient positioning
• Monitor inventory levels and notify leadership of supply needs
• Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards
• Maintain accurate documentation and equipment logs
• Support efficient patient flow throughout the center

Qualifications

• Previous Endoscopy Technician, Surgical Technician, GI Technician, or related healthcare experience preferred
• Knowledge of endoscopy equipment reprocessing and sterilization procedures preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with patient movement when necessary
• BLS certification preferred
