Job Details

• Position: Endoscopy Registered Nurse (RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job
• Setting: Endoscopy / GI Lab / Procedural Nursing
• Location: Petaluma, California
• Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule
• Shift Duration: 8 hours
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours per week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: ASAP / 10/19/2026
• Call: Required, with 3 call shifts in a 2-week period
• Weekends: No weekends
• Floating: May float to pre-op, phase II PACU, and nearby sister facilities with advance notice
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,280 - $2,400
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Active California RN license in hand at submission
• Minimum 3 years of Endoscopy RN or GI Lab RN experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and CGRN certifications required
• Experience with conscious sedation, airway management, and monitored anesthesia care recovery
• Ability to circulate and scrub in procedural nursing settings
• Experience with Epic charting required
• Strong IV skills, including starting and maintaining IVs
• Ability to support adult and geriatric patient populations
• First-time travelers considered only with 3+ years of endoscopy experience
• Must be flexible to float and comfortable working in a high-acuity procedural environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures
• Assist with pre-procedure, intra-procedure, and post-procedure patient care
• Administer and monitor conscious sedation per protocol
• Support airway management and continuous patient monitoring throughout procedures
• Prepare, organize, and maintain endoscopy equipment and GI Lab supplies
• Circulate and scrub for a variety of GI and endoscopic procedures
• Perform accurate specimen handling, labeling, and documentation
• Document patient care and procedure details in Epic
• Collaborate with the procedural team to promote efficient workflow and excellent patient outcomes
• Float to pre-op, phase II PACU, or nearby sister facilities when needed
