Travel Nursing Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,000-$2,100
• Start Date: October 19, 2026
• Contract End Date: January 18, 2027
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5 shifts per week
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
• Call and Weekend Requirements: No weekends and no call

Endoscopy Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure eligible for practice in South Carolina
• At least 2 years of recent Endoscopy RN or GI lab nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience with endoscopy procedures, preoperative nursing care, and post-anesthesia or PACU recovery
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 1 year of recent Epic electronic medical record experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Ability to complete required orientation, compliance activities, and pre-assignment testing
• Current influenza vaccination required
• Ability to float to other qualified units or campuses when needed and perform only duties supported by documented competencies

Endoscopy RN Responsibilities

• Provide safe, comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing outpatient GI and endoscopy procedures
• Complete pre-procedure assessments, medication reconciliation, patient education, and procedure preparation
• Assist with endoscopy procedures while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and dignity
• Monitor patients during post-procedure recovery and identify changes requiring timely intervention
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with orders, policies, and professional nursing standards
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in Epic
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, physicians, anesthesia professionals, and the interdisciplinary care team to support efficient patient flow
• Maintain adherence to infection prevention, procedural safety, and quality standards
