Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday (Day Shift)
Setting: FQHC / Community Health Outpatient Clinic
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate Endodontist to join a mission-driven outpatient community health organization serving diverse and underserved patient populations. This role provides advanced endodontic care while collaborating with general dentists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional, patient-centered treatment.
Responsibilities
• Diagnose and treat diseases affecting the dental pulp and surrounding tissues.
• Perform non-surgical and surgical endodontic procedures, including root canal therapy, retreatment, apexification, apicoectomy, and management of dental trauma.
• Evaluate referrals and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
• Utilize digital radiographs and CBCT imaging for diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Manage endodontic emergencies and dental pain.
• Educate patients on treatment options and post-procedure care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and comply with clinical, OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards.
Qualifications
• DDS or DMD from a CODA-accredited dental school.
• Completion of an accredited Endodontics residency.
• Active California Dental License (unrestricted).
• BLS/CPR/DEA Registration.
• Minimum 2 years of Endodontic experience.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endodontics preferred.
• Experience in FQHC, community health, or public health settings preferred.
• EPIC EMR experience is a plus.
