We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Endodontist to join our modern dental practice in Reno, Nevada. This is a flexible full-time or part-time position offering a steady internal referral stream, advanced technology (including CBCT and microscopy), and a high earning potential suited for both experienced specialists and motivated new graduates.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform specialized treatments: Complete primary root canal therapy, complex retreatments, and surgical endodontic procedures (such as apicoectomies) with high precision.
- Examine and diagnose: Review patient medical histories, evaluate radiographic/CBCT imaging, and determine accurate pulpal diagnoses for patients experiencing oral pain.
- Collaborate for care: Coordinate treatment plans smoothly with our general dentistry staff and local referring providers.
- Educate and comfort: Explain procedures clearly, manage patient anxiety, and provide proper post-operative care instructions.
- Maintain documentation: Keep concise, accurate, and timely electronic health records for all patient encounters.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
- Specialty Training: Certificate of completion from a CODA-accredited advanced educational program in Endodontics.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered Nevada dental license (or immediate eligibility to obtain licensure prior to start).
- Skills: Proficiency with modern endodontic equipment (dental operating microscopes and digital imaging).
Compensation & Benefits
- Earning Structure: Highly competitive daily base guarantee or strong percentage of net collections (whichever is greater), scaling to $430,000–$650,000+ annually for full-time production.
