The Staff Pad is seeking a Part-Time Endodontist to join a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) organization in Houston, TX. This role involves providing specialized endodontic care for pediatric and special needs patients under general anesthesia. The successful candidate will join a dedicated ASC team focused on restorative and exodontia procedures in a structured surgical setting.
Practice Info
- Specializes in restorative and exodontia procedures for pediatric and special needs patients performed under general anesthesia
- Work alongside Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical team members
- Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
Responsibilities
- Provide endodontic care for pediatric and special needs patients
- Follow established clinical and safety standards throughout patient care
Shift & Schedule
- Part-Time (1-2 Days per week)
- No Call, Weekends or Holidays
Requirements
- Licensed Endodontist with appropriate state licensure
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent
- PALS certification (within 6 months of hire)
- National Board certification strongly preferred
- Ability to practice across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, professional work ethic, excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ASC setting
