About the Position

Position: Full-Time Endodontist

Practice: Gilroy Endodontics

Location: Gilroy, California

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Wednesday, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM-2:00 PM

Clinical Facilities: Three operatories

Advanced Dental Technology

Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) scanner with 3D imaging

Computer-guided implant placement technology

Digital X-ray imaging

Endodontist Responsibilities

As a Full-Time Endodontist, you will provide comprehensive endodontic care to patients while working collaboratively with our experienced dental team.

Responsibilities include:

Examine, diagnose, and treat conditions affecting the dental pulp and surrounding tissues.

Perform nonsurgical root canal treatments and endodontic surgical procedures as indicated.

Diagnose and manage dental pain, pulpal disease, and periapical conditions.

Develop individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient needs.

Use advanced diagnostic imaging and modern endodontic techniques to support treatment outcomes.

Educate patients about diagnoses, treatment options, procedures, and post-treatment care.

Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with applicable dental regulations and practice standards.

Follow all applicable infection control, patient safety, HIPAA, OSHA, and CDC guidelines.

Collaborate with referring dentists and other dental professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Endodontist Qualifications and Requirements

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.

Certificate of completion of an accredited endodontic residency program.

Active California dental license or the ability to obtain a California dental license.

Current CPR certification.

One to two years of previous clinical experience preferred or required.

Thorough understanding of dental health and safety regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, and CDC infection control guidelines.

Strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient communication skills.

Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate endodontic care.
