The Staff Pad is seeking a Part-Time Endodontist to join a leading pediatric Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) organization in St. Louis, MO. This role involves providing specialized endodontic care for pediatric and special needs patients within a structured surgical setting, focusing on restorative and exodontia procedures performed under general anesthesia. The ideal candidate will value collaborative care, patient safety, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of young patients.
Practice Info
- Specializes in restorative and exodontia procedures for pediatric and special needs patients performed under general anesthesia
- Dedicated ASC team providing specialized dental care in a structured surgical setting
- Treat approximately seven pediatric patients during a typical OR day
- Work alongside Dentists, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses, Registered Dental Assistants, and other surgical team members
Responsibilities
- Provide endodontic care for pediatric and special needs patients
- Follow established clinical and safety standards throughout patient care
Shift & Schedule
- Part-Time (1-2 Days per week)
- No Call, Weekends or Holidays
Requirements
- Licensed Endodontist with appropriate state licensure
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Current BLS certification; AHA or equivalent
- PALS certification (within 6 months of hire)
- National Board certification strongly preferred
- Ability to practice across various anesthesia staffing models, including Anesthesia Care Team and independent practice models preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, professional work ethic, excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ASC setting
