Appalachian Regional Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join our expanding specialty team at Beckley ARH Hospital in southern West Virginia. This is an exciting opportunity to develop a high-demand service line in a growing community where your clinical expertise will be highly valued and fully supported.
You'll work within a large, integrated health system that combines local autonomy with the shared strength of a regional network, giving you the ability to focus on patient care, teaching, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a full spectrum of endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid dysfunction, adrenal/pituitary disease, and osteoporosis
- Perform thyroid ultrasounds and fine-needle aspiration biopsies (if desired)
- Provide inpatient consults and outpatient endocrinology care within a weekday clinic schedule
- Collaborate closely with PCPs, cardiologists, oncologists, and surgeons throughout the ARH system
- Participate in system-wide quality improvement and population health efforts as desired
Candidate Profile
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Endocrinology
- Skilled in outpatient and inpatient endocrine care, including diabetes and thyroid management
- Committed to patient-centered care in a rural health setting
- Collegial, community-minded, and ready to grow a specialty practice with strong system support
