Endocrinologist

The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a full-time Endocrinologist to join its state-of-the-art multi-specialty practice in Manhasset, NY. This role focuses on outpatient care within a team dedicated to patient-centered care, research, and education. The chosen candidate will serve a diverse population in Long Island, benefiting from a significant number of referrals from existing providers.

• Large multi-specialty practice combining high-level training and advanced resources with personalized care
• Part of Mount Sinai's Department of Endocrinology, committed to caring for the whole patient
• Ambulatory practice setting
• Multi-specialty team includes internists, gastroenterologists, and cardiologists
• Support staff includes Medical assistants and part-time CDE
• EMR system: Epic

Responsibilities

• Work with a multi-specialty team of internists, gastroenterologists, and cardiologists
• Serve a diverse population
• Possibility of telephone call with other Long Island endocrinologists
• No administrative, teaching, or research responsibilities

Compensation

• Competitive salary and benefits offered including productivity bonuses
• Compensation range from $250,000 to $350,000 (not including bonuses / incentive compensation or benefits)

Shift & Schedule

• All outpatient
• Regular Monday to Friday hours with one evening per week
• No hospital call

Requirements

• Medical Degree from an Accredited University
• New York Medical License
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Endocrinology
• Committed to Mount Sinai and the communities we serve
• Excellent communication, bedside manner, and organizational skills
• A strong work ethic and desire to participate in a team-oriented, performance-driven Health System
• Interest in working in an ambulatory practice
