Practice Info
- Independent practice with a solid affiliation with local tertiary care hospitals that provide a full range of Endocrinology medicine
- Full complement of clinical and administrative support teams to assist with patient care, including a dedicated Medical Assistant for each provider
- Practice medicine autonomously in an ambulatory setting partnering with primary care
- Optum NY/NJ was formed in 2022 by bringing together Riverside Medical Group, CareMount Medical and ProHealth Care
- As a Patient Centered Medical Home, Optum NY/NJ can provide patient-focused medical care to the entire family
- Team working in local clinics, surgery centers and urgent care centers, within care models focused on managing risk, higher quality outcomes and driving change through collaboration and innovation
Responsibilities
- Direct and manage a complete continuum of quality-based care within the interdisciplinary team
- Examine patients in clinic and perform surgical procedures as needed
- Consult with patients to understand their health concerns and perform specialized tests to diagnose and treat patients
- Consult with patient's primary care physician and other specialists as needed
Compensation
- Guaranteed, competitive compensation model based on quality, not quantity, with significant earning potential and bonus eligibility
- Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $227,000 - $373,500
- Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role

Requirements
- Required: Unrestricted licensure in the state of New York or has New York application in process
- Required: Fellowship trained and Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Endocrinology
- Required: Active and unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain prior to start
