Endocrinologist

Northern Dutchess Hospital, affiliated with Nuvance Health, is seeking a full-time outpatient Endocrinologist to join an established and busy employed practice in Kingston, NY. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a colleague in a neighboring practice and potentially expand coverage to other area office locations. The position includes potential for an academic appointment or teaching responsibilities and comes with a generous sign-on bonus.

Practice Info

• Outpatient Endocrinology practice
• Established and busy employed practice
• Works with an APRN who sees patients independently and covers for the physician
• Adult-only practice
• Opportunity to expand coverage to other area office locations
• Potential flexibility to work a few days in Kingston and a few days in Poughkeepsie

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a colleague located approximately 25 miles away in a neighboring practice
• Teaching responsibility to residents and medical students

Compensation

• Salary Range: $285,000-$325,000 annually commensurate or relative to experience
• Competitive total compensation package including base salary, incentive pay

Requirements

• MD or DO with NY State and Federal Narcotic Use Registration
• Successfully completed an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Residency and be Board Certified in either
• Completed a full Fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism and be Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Preferred: Prior experience as an Endocrinologist
