This role offers an outpatient practice with inpatient consults, focusing on the endocrine and metabolic systems. Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examination
- Admit (if applicable to the setting)
- Provide treatment or consultative services
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide nonsurgical care for adult and adolescent patients presenting with illnesses, injuries, and disorders of the endocrine or metabolic system
Compensation
- Nationally competitive compensation plan
- Annual compensation floor range (based on 1.0 FTE): $262,669 - $339,925 plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
- Additional incentives may be offered
- Actual compensation offers may vary and are determined based on multiple factors including education, training, certification, experience, scope of practice and actual job requirements

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program
- Successful completion of a fellowship in Endocrinology accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed fellowship training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of fellowship training
- Experience can be demonstrated by fellowship log (for recent fellows) or quality profile from current hospitals showing clinical activity for the last 12 months (for others)
- If not applying directly out of a fellowship, must demonstrate active involvement of inpatient services to be at least 50 patients in the last 12 months
- If a quality profile is not available, documentation of clinic activity for the last 12 months is required, demonstrating active involvement in the care of 50 patients in clinical practice in the last 12 months
