The role is ideal for physicians seeking strong work-life balance, professional growth, and long-term career stability.Key ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and manage patients with endocrine and metabolic conditionsDiagnose and treat: Diabetes mellitus (Type 1, Type 2, and gestational diabetes)Thyroid disordersOsteoporosis and metabolic bone diseaseAdrenal and pituitary disordersObesity and metabolic syndromeHormonal imbalances and reproductive endocrine concernsDevelop individualized treatment and lifestyle management plansInterpret endocrine laboratory results, imaging, and diagnostic studiesManage insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring systems (CGMs), and advanced diabetes therapies when applicableProvide patient education focused on prevention, wellness, and long-term disease managementCollaborate closely with primary care physicians, dietitians, diabetes educators, and specialistsMaintain accurate and timely EMR documentationManage an average patient volume of approximately 16 patients per dayParticipate in telehealth services as scheduledQualificationsMD or DO degree requiredBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes & MetabolismCompletion of an ACGME-accredited Endocrinology FellowshipActive or eligible for Delaware Medical LicenseDEA registration requiredMinimum 3 years of experience preferredOpen to: New graduatesFellows completing training within the next few monthsPreferred SkillsExperience managing insulin pumps and CGM devicesStrong outpatient endocrine clinical skillsInterest in obesity medicine and preventive metabolic healthExcellent communication and patient education abilitiesTeam-oriented and collaborative approach to careBenefitsHealth and dental insuranceMalpractice coverageCME allowancePaid time offPartnership opportunity available
