Endocrinologist

The AdventHealth Diabetes Institute in Orlando is seeking clinically-focused endocrinologists to join their team at a tertiary facility. This role involves improving the lives of people with diabetes through clinical care, education, and research. The new physician will be part of a larger team of over 20 endocrine providers in Central Florida, with opportunities for both inpatient and outpatient care.

Practice Info

• Part of the AdventHealth Diabetes Institute, a full-service, integrated practice providing endocrinology and diabetes care, as well as comprehensive diabetes and nutrition education services.
• The AdventHealth Diabetes Institute is a nationally recognized program, consistently recognized in Endocrinology by U.S. News and World Report.
• Serves as a teaching site for internal medicine residents and medical students.
• Participates in clinical research in the areas of diabetes, obesity, and metabolism in partnership with the Translational Research Institute for Metabolism and Diabetes.
• The main office, including clinical, administrative, and education areas, is situated in over 20,000 sq ft of office space on the campus of AdventHealth Orlando, a 1,364-bed tertiary referral hospital.
• This is an employment opportunity through AdventHealth Medical Group, a 900+ physician, multi-specialty organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver transformational clinical care within the inpatient setting.
• Participate in teaching for qualified and interested candidates.
• Participate in clinical research for qualified and interested candidates.

Requirements

• Physician must be fellowship trained.
• Active board certification through the American Board of Internal Medicine with board certification or board eligibility (within five years of completion of training) in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism.
