Endocrinologist

The Hospitals of Providence Transmountain Campus, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a passionate Endocrinologist to join an established practice at a new academic facility in El Paso, TX. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive endocrinology care in both outpatient and inpatient settings, while actively engaging in academic responsibilities including teaching and scholarly activities. The role is ideal for a physician who enjoys ambulatory care and contributing to medical education.

Practice Info

• Join an established practice at a brand-new academic facility.
• Typical work schedule includes 7 half-days of clinic per week.
• Daily patient census: 8-10 patients per half-day of clinic and 3-5 inpatient consults per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultations/clinical services in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Supervise residents.
• Participate in teaching activities for medical students and residents.
• Produce at least one peer reviewed manuscript per year.
• Submit abstracts or posters to national meetings.

Shift & Schedule

• Full Time.
• No call.

Requirements

• MD/DO degree.
• BE/BC.
• Active Texas license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Have a passion for ambulatory care and teaching.
