Join a Collaborative Diabetes and Cardiometabolic Care Team

HealthPro Talent is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist on behalf of a well-established, community-based healthcare organization in Brooklyn. The physician will join a collaborative Diabetes and Cardiometabolic Health team providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with diabetes, endocrine disorders, and chronic metabolic conditions.

This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a multidisciplinary outpatient setting while improving access to specialty care for diverse and underserved communities.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat diabetes, thyroid disease, obesity, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary disorders, lipid disorders, and other endocrine conditions

  • Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans

  • Manage insulin therapy, continuous glucose monitoring systems, insulin pumps, and other endocrine-related medications

  • Interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing

  • Educate patients about disease management, nutrition, and lifestyle modification

  • Collaborate with primary care providers and interdisciplinary care teams

  • Collaborate with and support Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical program development

Qualifications

Required

  • MD or DO degree

  • Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism

  • Active New York medical license or ability to obtain one

  • DEA registration

  • Current BLS certification

Preferred

  • ACLS certification

  • Four to six years of clinical experience

  • Experience with advanced diabetes technologies, including continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pumps

  • Experience in community health, ambulatory care, or an FQHC setting

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual base salary of $280,000-$320,000, based on experience and qualifications
