Position Overview
Boston Medical Center – Brighton, a member of the BMC Health System, is seeking a full‑time Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible Endocrinologist to join our growing practice. The role requires a motivated clinician with strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centered care. You will work closely with two other staff Endocrinologists, two advanced practice providers, two certified diabetes educators, and a pharmacist team to provide comprehensive endocrine care.
Academic Engagement
- Teach residents and medical students.
- Support for faculty appointment applications.
- Mentorship and academic resources for research or quality improvement.
- Strong clinical and academic ties to the Section of Endocrinology at BMC Main Campus.
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient endocrine care at the BMC Brighton practice.
- Provide inpatient endocrine consult coverage at BMC Brighton.
- Collaborate with referring providers, on‑site pharmacists, and multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care for endocrine disorders.
- Familiarity with emerging diabetes technologies and their utilities is highly valued.
- Participate in teaching and supervision of medical students, internal medicine residents, and advanced practice providers.
- Participate in quality improvement, clinical operations, and program development initiatives within the endocrine section.
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
- Completion of an ACGME‑accredited Endocrinology fellowship.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts.
