Endocrinologist

A physician-led multispecialty group is seeking an endocrinologist for a permanent outpatient role in Bethpage, Long Island, New York. This position features no hospital responsibilities, a collaborative team-based setting, and an annual base salary range of $320,000 to $360,000 with RVU incentives. Providers will deliver comprehensive endocrine and diabetes care utilizing Epic EMR while enjoying a manageable shared telephone call schedule.

• Team-based environment with RN support, a dedicated MA (1:1), and an APP
• Multispecialty group with multiple specialties onsite
• Patient population includes commercially insured, Medicaid, and Medicare patients, as well as underserved communities

• Located in Bethpage, Long Island, New York with 30+ medical offices throughout New York City and Long Island

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of endocrine conditions
• Provide comprehensive diabetes care with support from certified diabetes educators and registered dietitians
• Perform physical examinations, order diagnostic testing, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe medications and provide ongoing disease management and preventive health recommendations
• Deliver patient-centered care that addresses patients' physical and psychosocial needs
• Maintain complete and accurate medical records
• Collaborate with the clinical team and participate in educational programs and staff meetings

Compensation

• Annual base salary range: $320,000-$360,000
• RVU incentive opportunity

Shift & Schedule

• Permanent job opening
• ASAP start available; future start dates accommodated for physicians completing training
• Shared telephone call approximately every six weeks

Requirements

• Board certified or truly board eligible in internal medicine and endocrinology
• MD, DO, or foreign equivalent required
• Completion of an accredited internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship required before starting
• Active, unrestricted New York State medical license or eligibility for licensure required
• DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
• Medicare/Medicaid enrollment or eligibility to enroll
• BLS or ACLS required; both strongly preferred
• One to three years of outpatient endocrinology experience preferred
• Open to experienced physicians and new graduates - no 2027 fellows, unfortunately
