Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced End User Support Technician to provide onsite technical assistance and maintain IT systems within a manufacturing environment. This individual will support employees with hardware, software, mobile devices, network connectivity, and facility technology while helping minimize disruptions to daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite and remote technical assistance to employees, resolving escalated hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Configure, install, maintain, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and conference room equipment.
- Support Microsoft 365, Windows operating systems, and other commonly used business applications.
- Investigate network issues involving switches, routers, wireless access points, and related infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of experience in desktop support, end-user support, or a similar IT position in Microsoft 365 and Windows environments.
- Experience troubleshooting computers, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and Microsoft applications.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts, including switches, routers, wireless connectivity, and cabling.
- Ability to prioritize support requests based on urgency and business impact.
- Comfortable working onsite in a manufacturing environment and following safety requirements.
Additional Details:
- This is a fully onsite position; remote work is not available.
- Travel to other facilities may be required, up to approximately 30%.
- Occasional emergency or after-hours support may be needed to support continuous manufacturing operations.
- Must be comfortable moving throughout a manufacturing facility, accessing equipment in various locations, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
