Encounters Systems Analyst

To ensure achievement of Service Level Agreements, the full-time remote Encounters Systems Analyst II will perform analysis of Encounter data, support regulatory data projects, and resolve data issues while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities Analyze Encounter data to assess financial and clinical impacts and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements Review Encounter rejections and provide resolutions for data issues and process changes Support claims data processes and regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with CMS and state agencies Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science/Arts or equivalent relevant work experience is required Preferred Master's Degree in Science/Arts with a concentration in Healthcare Analytics or Data Science Minimum of one to two years of experience in managed healthcare or claims environments At least one year of experience with SQL, SAS, SSIS, MySQL, ORACLE, R, or PowerBI Advanced knowledge of coding and billing processes, including CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding
