Overview
In conjunction with some of the area’s most advanced physicians and clinical teams, Lynx EMS provides high quality medical transport in a safe, growing environment. The Regional Director of Operations oversees a team of EMTs for the state of Colorado and is responsible for directing daily operations including inventory, fleet management, financial management, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- The Regional Director of Operations is responsible for all activities and ensuring successful daily operations.
- Spearheads initiatives for company expansion and market growth.
- Creates strategic decisions based on policy, analysis, and planning.
- Takes initiative to develop policies and procedures to create new and/or improve current practices related to ambulance staffing, stocking, and transportation.
- Is expected to be accessible as needed.
- Assists with recruitment, orientation, and retention of new staff.
- Works independently and demonstrates accountability to define goals and objectives to achieve desired outcomes.
- Has knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, and procedures.
- Shows strong commitment and provides outstanding service with a clear customer focus.
- Is flexible, creative, and innovative in adapting the program to changing business needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior Ambulance/EMS management required.
- Understanding of healthcare transportation/ambulance contracting.
- Business development experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of personnel management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience in directing inventory, fleet management, financial management, and compliance.
